Malang Folk Foundation (MFF), established in March 2024, is registered as a Section 8 company in India. It is envisioned as an epicentre for the nourishment, promotion and evolution of folk art and culture. The Malang spirit embodies and retains the intimation of wisdom, carried by artists and artisanal communities through generations in the form of folk music, dance, art, craft, theatre, food & lifestyle.
At MFF, we embark on diverse projects aimed at fulfilling our objectives. These initiatives encompass research initiatives, cultural festivals, retreats, workshops, music and film productions, and curated cultural tours. Our mission is to safeguard and propagate the rich tapestry of folk heritage, fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of our cultural roots.

काहे छिपहे छाइलै राम न लावहो चीत॥
नामा कहै त्रिलोचना मुख ते राम समॉल॥
हाथ पाओं कर काम सब चीत निरंजन नाल॥
Trilochan says, “O Naamdev, Maya has enticed you, my friend.
Why are you printing designs on these sheets, and not focusing your
consciousness on the Lord?”
Naamdev answers, “O Trilochan, chant the Lord’s Name with your mouth.
With your hands and feet, do all your work,
but let your consciousness remain with the Immaculate Lord.”
